Job Description:

The Programme Head is responsible for the overall coherence, delivery, planning, evaluation, and enhancement of an academic programme, while modeling the College's values through collaborative working with colleagues and students.

This position is also responsible for:

• Proactively seek student and staff feedback and act on it to inform programme and curriculum developments.
• Work collaboratively with module leaders to design a curriculum that actively promotes inclusion for its staff and students.
• Communicate and work with module leaders within the programme to ensure effective coordination and coherence of the programme.
• Coordinate and convene the Programme with a cross-campus team to ensure the effective functioning of weekly plans and prepare for and attend other relevant meetings with colleagues to ensure effective delivery of the programme.
• Develop and update documents, timetables, and Programme Handbooks to support and clarify programme structures for students.
• Work with module leaders to ensure a consistent and coherent virtual learning presence for all modules within the programme.
• Engage in a proactive approach to promote coordinated and innovative academic practices across the programme and ensure coordinated programme-wide assessment and feedback practices aligned with the College's assessment and feedback approach.
• Provide leadership, direction, and communication to module leaders to ensure the quality of learning, teaching, and assessment within the modules, offering a stimulating learning experience for the students.
• Communicate with and respond to External Examiner issues and reports and take action to address required programme enhancements.
